Sometimes it irritates the hell out of me when I hear people complaining away about how sucky their results are, how they wish they had done better, how this how that when in the end, it turns out that they got a CAP score of.......above 4.00. That, by my own standards, is such a freaking high score (which I'll probably never see in my 3 or maybe 4 years - if I'm lucky of university life) that I wish they'll just shut right up, go somewhere and reflect upon themselves and hopefully be done with it.

Ahem. Sorry for that angsty post above. But seriously, it is so annoying to hear complaints like that and when you're all poised to offer your deepest condolences to that person despite your own cannot-be-lousier results, you found out that his/her definition of doing badly is getting a CAP score so high that you probably can only get to see it in your wildest dreams, and the worst grade they had gotten is a B.

So, tell me I'm jealous.

I don't mind admitting to that, because I know I'll never score that kind of marks no matter how hard I study. So even though I'm itching to give that person a piece of my mind, I managed to hold myself back because I seriously cannot be bothered - go whine about it as much as you like and see if other people do not feel the same way as I do.

But that's how things are. Darn.

The world and its nuisances. Plus the people in it. -.-

Spare me the crap, please.

Hmm, just thought I'd take a break from baking to update a little. (Hope he doesn't see this before I give the oatmeal raisin cookies to him tomorrow haha.)

Anyway, the results for semester 2 were released today and I have to say some of the grades I got were quite unexpected. Overall, I'm feeling okay about them - at least my CAP score rose, albeit by only a pathetic 0.05 point. Haha. But hey, every step, no matter how small, brings me to my eventual goal okay.

I'm going to watch X-Men 3 tomorrow. Can't wait! And neither can I wait to see him tomorrow as well! Yup, that'll be all for now. Till then, tata~

Watched Da Vinci Code over the weekend - it wasn't too bad, but listening to all the french being spoken made me yearn to take up french instead of jap! Haha. Just kidding. Thought it sounded quite exotic though. Still, a movie is afterall, a movie, so of course there were quite a few details missing and some parts don't mash, despite it being a mind-blowing 2.5-hour long show. That said, I thought the cast was fantastic - for some reason, I loved Hanks' accent although at first I didn't really like the idea of him portraying Robert Langdon (and spoiling the image I had of him in my mind haha). Think I wouldn't mind watching it a second time, but hey, money's hard to come by these days, so I'll just have to make do.

Yup, that'll be all for now. Till then, tata~

So dark the con of man.

Yup, time to update about the Sentosa trip. Hmm, on the whole, it was a fruitful trip. A little too fruitful, I should say, because I was sunburnt pretty badly. Haha. Think I must have been mad to have lied there right under the scorching sun for 3 hours (and counting). As a result, I'm soooo burnt, and the slightest movement causes me the greatest agony. And nope, I'm not exaggerating. No wonder they say you should be careful of what you wish for. -_-|| I think I'll be abstaining from the sun for a while haha. Despite the suffering I have to go through, it was an enjoyable trip as I had fun catching up with HM. It's been a while since I had last seen her, so it was definitely fun to just lie there and talk about the things going on in our lives. We should do that more often girl! (:

Okayyyy, it had been quite a fulfilling week for me. On Thur, I met up with the 4P girls for dinner at this ramen restuarant in Suntec. Hmm, the food was only so-so. Wouldn't say it was fantastic but it wasn't that bad either. Was feeling quite happy because he actually booked out on Wed so I managed to meet him on Thur when he joined us for dinner. After that was off to TCC for dessert. Hmm, it was quite pricey and neither the cheesecake nor the drink I had was nice. -_-||

On Fri, I met him again to watch Poseidon before meeting his family for dinner at this cafe at Katong. The show was quite a typical disaster-but-got-some-survivors kind of movie. It was entertaining while it lasted though.

On Sat, met up with the 14/03 girls to celebrate YT's birthday at Thai Express. It was actually a surprise celebration for her and I'm glad to say that the gathering was fun - enjoyed catching up with everyone. We really should do that more often. The only thing lacking was that not everyone was present. Bleah. But there'll always be more chances like this in the future (I hope).

And today, which is Sunday, I met up with him again to have dinner at Cartel. Usually, we hardly go out on Sundays because he has to book in, but he said he wanted to make it up to me since we couldn't meet on Sat as he wasn't feeling well. Anyway, he also bought me Famous Amos cookies just because I said they smell really nice when I passed by the shop. So sweet. Thanks darl!

Hmm, guess that'll be all for now. Till then, tata! (:
